It's a proud moment when you teach your children their ABC's and then to read simple words. Even more so when they use "big" words correctly in a sentence. Like my third born yesterday at a friend's home after a delicious lunch. No, the word was not delicious-that would have been a good word to use with a "thank you". Disgusting. That was the word. Awkward moment. She is only 5, going on 6 very soon, so I think we've been pardoned from offending anyone.
I drank some raw milk yesterday for the first time! It was good, with a slight aftertaste. Well, what do I expect after many years of store bought milk? Very thankful for that opportunity.
June is almost over and it's gone by just as quickly as May. Three more birthdays next month.
Little O man has his first two teeth - finally! He's cruising around and being a boy, but no walking yet.
This month I started an envelope system and I did well sticking within the budget. I will do some tweaking for next month, but it's keeping me more accountable.
Okay, so let's see. I fell behind on the weight loss and exercise over the past week or so. I have not given up on the goal. I still have to finish a skirt for Emmali, which may happen today during the kid's naptime. My Bible reading time and study is going well. I started a discipleship program in April and it has been a real blessing to me and my walk with Jesus.
Life is not always "exciting" around here, but we are never bored. Thanks for reading. Let me know that you were here just by saying hello in the comments or "follow" me as a reader.
Proverbs 3:7&8
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
