Last Day of Homeschool!

Well, we made it through another year! The girls finished up their last papers and tests this morning. We celebrated with our tradition of a pizza party! Daddy picked up some Hungry Howies pizzas and the girls got to pick out sodas yesterday at Walmart - grape, strawberry, and root beer. Mike also swung by Lowe's where some real suthin folks were smoking some Boston butts and ribs since yesterday- so we are having Boston butt for dinner, can't wait to try it!
I know the girls are excited about being done for this school year, but it's going to be a long two months waiting for Owen to arrive:) I'm thankful that Mike has a break from training for a few more weeks - he has been a big help with the kids! The PLAN is to keep them busy indoors (reading, helping around the house, artwork, piano practice) and outdoors (bike riding, water gun play, etc.)
The next round of events is a trip to Destin for two days so we can enjoy the pretty beach before we go to Alaska. Then celebrating all of the summer birthdays starting with Emmali who will be TEN!
Alrighty, time to go...we are going to plant some watermelon seeds. We have no room to actually plant them once they are ready to move, so we will have to find someone at church who has room for watermelons!
