Oh my, another year flashes before my eyes! Winter arrived early here in NNY. We've had quite a bit of snow already and it's not even officially winter! I am almost done getting gifts for family and dear friends. I'd be done already, but I'm dividing my shopping by paychecks. The fun part will be getting it all to the post office! I'm also trying to keep up with sending cards or packages to my dear hubby so he knows how much we miss him and love him.
Plans this month:
Bake cookies to give to neighbors and friends.
Send cards and packages to friends and family.
Have a ladies night IN one night and enjoy sweet fellowship!
Have a small, family Christmas meal here at home.
Make a tiered skirt for Emmali.
Try making a homemade gift from an idea I saw in a store ad.
Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, and as I get older, the presents seem less important (we all like to receive gifts, right?) and just being together and knowing we have family that loves us seems the most important thing at this time of year - if not all year long! I love the feeling inside when there is a house full of family that is excited to be together! I am so glad I have the best Father to love me and care for me ALL the time.
