The new year is off to a good start! School is going well for the girls.
Emmali is at the halfway point in second grade. Her piano lessons and practice are moving right along. God has blessed her with an ability to learn quickly. (Unlike her mama who can't even carry a tune.) Emmali wants to learn how to use a child size sewing machine she got from her Nana for Christmas. I have to set aside some time for us to have a sewing day!
Zoe is enjoying having some of her own "schoolwork" and her favorite thing to do is build with Legos and play with her sisters.
Rachel is talking much more and it's easier to understand her. She likes to say her name lately. She loves to look at books and color.
Miriam has started a little bit of baby food and is very interested in crawling! She has the leg part down, but her arms aren't cooperating as of yet. She enjoys hearing herself screech, but seeing as how I don't, I am working on that.
By the time Mike returns from his training in California (he left this morning) she will surely be making her way around the house. I'm in no hurry for this next milestone!
And, well, I'm just trying to keep up with all these people in my house! :)
Last year I tried to read the Bible (chronologically) in a year. I got waaaay behind especially after Miriam arrived, but I'm back on track. I am not starting over, but aim to at least finish the Bible this year.
Our weather? Well, so far this winter has proven to be mild. We had a high of 65 F on Tuesday! But more snow is on the way!
God bless you friends and family!
